Associate Members
An Associate Membership is a useful option for nuclear industries who wish to benefit from the MAI activities. They can join one or several R&D projects, for which they financially contribute (proportionate to the project budget) to MAI in cash and/or in human resource. In principle, any industrial organization (involved in nuclear energy generation or not) can join the MAI as an Associate Member.
Current Associate Members are:
| MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Japan), a vendor who joined MAI to study corrosion of austenitic materials in PWR primary water, which is part of the MAI’s COPRIN project. | |
| CRIEPI (Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry, Japan), who is interested in Flow Accelerated Corrosion which forms part of CIRCE and joined the MAI as an Associate Member to this project. | |
