MAI visited by Henri Proglio
On March 11, Henri Proglio, President of EDF Group, honored the Materials Ageing Institute with a visit, illustrating the importance of the institute for EDF and for its R&D unit in particular.

Henri Proglio, President of the EDF Group since November 2009, choose the MAI to meet with EDF R&D. During the meeting, the EDF R&D Senior Vice President Corporate Yves Bamberger presented the major objectives and means of EDF R&D. Henri Proglio and his staff then visited the MAI microscope laboraties, followed by a presentation of the MAI and Long Term Operation activities of EDF R&D in general. After the visit, Henri Proglio mentioned his believe in the usefulness of international collaborative initiatives, such as established in the frame of the MAI.
