A successful Materials Degradation Course
From May 3 to 5 2011, the MAI proposed its second offering of the "Materials Degradation Course for Engineers in the Nuclear Industry".

About 57 participants were registred from many different organizations and countries, including Westinghouse, EPRI, SERCO, JRC, KHNP, MHI, Southern Nuclear, TEPCO, EDF Energy,... and of course EDF (R&D, DPN, DIN, ...). The course proposed a wide variety of topics including design and operation of PWR and BWR plants and ageing mechanisms in LWR environment and utility views on component ageing - Ageing Lessons Learned.
